We purchased the RV Fuel Vault in the very first offering, because we understood the importance of securing our diesel fills. Installing the RV Fuel Vault diesel cover was a simple process. The installation was truly straightforward (written on the inside of the the top of the box.) No drilling, no modifications, and we only used a screw gun. From opening the box to locking it in place, it took just a few minutes, each. If you're looking for an easy-to-install security upgrade for your RV, we highly recommend the RV Fuel Vault. It's a quality product that delivers exactly what it promises! Our only complaint or caution is the new screw head is a unique pattern, which is great and they send you one bit with each cover. But they only send you just enough screws for the number of holes you have. One extra screw would help, if you strip one while tightening the cover. The fit was perfect, the instructions were easy to follow, and the finished product looks like it came from the factory. It's well-built, feels very durable, and gives us the added peace of mind knowing our fuel is protected from tampering and theft.

As other reviewers have stated, I was concerned with others having too easy access to my 55 gallon tank of fuel in these days of expensive fuel. Additionally, the idea that someone may want to contaminate my fuel tank, though an issue that never really concerned me, made the RV Fuel Vault product something to consider. Super easy installation but had to shim and bend the locking tab for door to lock properly otherwise wouldn't be able to open fuel door without potentially breaking the key.

Although I was admittedly a bit nervous screwing anything into my just purchased “43,” the designer/owner graciously provided me some guidance by email and phone and pointed me to a fellow Lineage owner’s/installer’s installation feedback on the rig’s owners’ forum. It was ultimately a super easy install, taking me maybe 20 minutes for 3 “Vaults.” I even created an installation feedback document for our forum. Buy these and sleep easier at night with reduced risk of vandalism and other criminal activities.

This product is perfect for my RV. It fits like it came from the factory this way. My experience with RV fuel vault team has been a very good experience. Good communication great follow up. I’m very satisfied with this upgrade and it looks amazing!
