Install Your RV Fuel Vault

Verify all components are included: RV Fuel Vault covers, your existing screws or new Security Screws purchased from us as mounting hardware, lock and a set of keys.

Remove your existing exposed fuel bezel screws and set them aside. Align the RV Fuel Vault cover over the exposed fuel cap area on your motorhome. Ensure proper orientation using the screw holes.

Using the existing screws or the new Security Screws purchased from us, secure the cover in place. An impact drill is best for installing the new security screws in place of the factory screws you removed — the new screws are larger in diameter to grip and draw the new door firmly into the bezel and sidewall. Caution: do not over-tighten, as excessive torque can break the screws.

Test the locking mechanism with both provided keys. Verify the cover is secure and fuel cap is fully accessible when unlocked.
