Most gas motorhomes leave your fuel cap exposed

Standard gas Class A and Class C motorhomes ship from the factory with a completely exposed fuel cap and no protective fuel door. That's true across major lines — Coachmen (Concord, Freelander, Leprechaun, Encore, Mirada), Fleetwood Bounder & Flair, Tiffin Open Road Allegro, and Winnebago Minnie Winnie, among many others — on the Ford E-350, E-450, and F53 chassis. The RV Fuel Vault is the heavy-duty, bolt-on locking door built to cover that exposed cap: stopping fuel theft, sealing out water and debris, and restoring a clean, factory finish.
