1. License Grant
RV Fuel Vault grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Find My Fit™ fitment API and/or embeddable widget solely to help your customers find and purchase genuine RV Fuel Vault products. This license does not transfer any ownership of the fitment database, software, or brand.
2. Proprietary Data & Black-Box Logic
The fitment database — the original selection, coordination, structure, and mapping of chassis, fuel-door counts, and DEF configurations across RV models — is the proprietary property of RV Fuel Vault. You receive only matching lookup results returned by the API. You will not receive, and are not licensed to obtain, any bulk export, raw table, or CSV of the underlying database.
3. No Scraping or Reverse Engineering
You will not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, cache beyond reasonable operational needs, resell, or otherwise attempt to reconstruct the fitment database, nor reverse engineer the API or widget, nor use them to build or assist any competing hardware, fitment lookup, or catalog.
4. Brand & Attribution
Any page or widget using the API must display the “Powered by RV Fuel Vault / Find My Fit™” attribution as provided, without alteration, and must follow RV Fuel Vault brand guidelines. “Find My Fit” and “RV Fuel Vault” are trademarks of RV Fuel Vault.
5. Data Privacy & Analytics
RV Fuel Vault owns the lookup analytics generated through the API (which RV models are searched, frequency, and volume). You retain your own customer relationship and order data. Neither party will misuse personal data collected through the integration.
6. Fees & Plans
Stocking dealers and distributors may use the API at no charge. Non-stocking partners may be charged a monthly fee. Access is free to start, and RV Fuel Vault reserves the right to introduce or change fees on reasonable notice.
7. Service Levels
RV Fuel Vault targets high availability (goal 99.9% uptime) and provides support to active API partners, but the service is provided “as is” without warranty. Rate limits apply per key and may be adjusted to protect the platform.
8. Suspension & Termination
RV Fuel Vault may suspend or revoke any key at any time for violation of these terms, suspected abuse, or non-payment of applicable fees. Upon termination you must remove the widget and stop all API use.
