The installation was truly straightforward (written on the inside of the the top of the box.) No drilling, no modifications, and we only used a screw gun. From opening the box to locking it in place, it took just a few minutes, each. If you're looking for an easy-to-install security upgrade for your RV, we highly recommend the RV Fuel Vault. It's a quality product that delivers exactly what it promises! Our only complaint or caution is the new screw head is a unique pattern, which is great and they send you one bit with each cover. But they only send you just enough screws for the number of holes you have. One extra screw would help, if you strip one while tightening the cover. The fit was perfect, the instructions were easy to follow, and the finished product looks like it came from the factory. It's well-built, feels very durable, and gives us the added peace of mind knowing our fuel is protected from tampering and theft.
