Although I was admittedly a bit nervous screwing anything into my just purchased “43,” the designer/owner graciously provided me some guidance by email and phone and pointed me to a fellow Lineage owner’s/installer’s installation feedback on the rig’s owners’ forum. It was ultimately a super easy install, taking me maybe 20 minutes for 3 “Vaults.” I even created an installation feedback document for our forum. Buy these and sleep easier at night with reduced risk of vandalism and other criminal activities.
This product is perfect for my RV. It fits like it came from the factory this way. My experience with RV fuel vault team has been a very good experience. Good communication great follow up. I’m very satisfied with this upgrade and it looks amazing!
I finally got round to install the RV Fuel Vault on my 2027 Grand Design Lineage 31ZW5. Straight forward installation, taking around 15 minutes for all three.
Great product, looks great and customer service is outstanding.
Small business with superior, owner-involved customer service are still alive and kicking and The RV Fuel Vault is a prime example. I had pretty-high expectations walking in the door. A respected member of an model-specific RV Facebook group posted an unsolicited glowing review of the product and the company. I am not worried about fuel theft. I bought it for the aesthetics. I didn't need it. I bought it because I liked the company.
G Quick easy install. Looks good.
What Grand Design owners say
I ordered three of the vault devices for my 2026 Grand Design Lineage model 31ZW . The installation was a breeze and they fit like a glove. I would highly recommend the Vaults to deter thefts and any acts of violence.

I had an extraordinary experience with Scott at TheRVFuelVault.com. For some unknown reason, my 2027 Grand Design Lineage 31 ZW was assembled with the fuel fills protruding out farther than normal. This caused the fuel vault door to hit the diesel fuel cap no matter how it was turned, preventing the door from locking. As soon as I reported this to Scott, he went to work on a solution. Within one week, he had designed and manufactured a ¼ inch spacer to go under the original vault unit which perfectly resolved the entire issue. I have based my entire business career on exceeding customer expectations, which is a rare occurrence now days. Scott, without hesitation, has done that for me. Also the special security screws and included driver bit is a great feature! Thank you Scott and TheRVFuelVault.com. Love the look and security of this product.

Jim Meadows — 2026 Grand Design Lineage Series F 31ZW
Easy to install and the look great. They cover the blue and green caps on my RV making it look more finished. Also a deterrent to would-be fuel thieves. If it makes one thief think twice, that's good enough for me.
