1990–2027 Thor Motor Coach Axis Locking Fuel Door

After removing the factory gas filler neck plate screws I reamed out the mounting screw holes to accommodate the larger security screws. Silicone sealant was then applied between the RV wall, the factory plate and the new vault door. Additional silicone was injected into each of the mounting screw holes as each of the security screws were screwed into place using a crosshatch pattern. Total time was approximately 15 minutes. Verdict? I am very pleased... small door to frame gap is a great deterrent against forced opening via prying attempts. The key lock is sprung from within the lock body so leaving the key in the lock will likely not be a concern. Congratulations to the team at RV Fuel Vault

This was extremely easy to install. Additional silicone caulking was not required because it’s a lockable cover plate. The security screws supplied with the kit along with the 30 torx bit worked perfectly and add a nice touch to the fuel door looks.
