The RV Fuel Vault

1. Limited Lifetime Product Warranty

The RV Fuel Vault warrants to the original purchaser that The RV Fuel Vault will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the vehicle on which it was originally installed.

Coverage

This warranty covers the structural integrity of the High Impact Reinforced Material vault and the functional performance of the locking/shielding mechanism.

Finish

The High Impact Reinforced Material finish is warranted against significant degradation or delamination for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase, provided the unit has not been subjected to mechanical abrasion or chemical damage.

2. OEM Warranty Protection Statement

The RV Fuel Vault is engineered as a “No-Drill / No-Cut” accessory. It utilizes existing factory mounting points and does not require modification to the OEM fuel tank, filler neck, or chassis rails of the Ford E-450, F-550, F-600, or Ram 5500.

Compliance

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the installation of this aftermarket part does not void the vehicle’s factory warranty unless the OEM can prove the part caused a specific failure. The RV Fuel Vault has designed this product to remain in full compliance with Ford QVM and Stellantis/Mopar Body Builder guidelines.

3. Liability Disclaimer & Proper Use

While The RV Fuel Vault is a high-security deterrent designed to deter fuel theft and “drilling” damage, The RV Fuel Vault does not guarantee the total prevention of theft or vandalism.

Installation

Liability is limited to the replacement of the RV Fuel Vault unit itself. The RV Fuel Vault is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle, fuel system, or environmental cleanup resulting from improper installation or attempted forced entry.

Safety

The installer must ensure that the vault does not interfere with the vehicle’s fuel-shedding or break-away safety features. The unit must be installed according to the official AMI Installation Guide using the provided tamper-resistant hardware.

4. Return & Replacement Policy

Defective units must be reported within 30 days of discovery. To initiate a claim, the user must provide:

Proof of purchase.
The vehicle VIN (to verify chassis fitment).
Photos of the installed unit.

5. The No-Siphon Promise (Anti-Theft Guarantee)

The No-Siphon Promise is a limited anti-theft guarantee offered in addition to the Limited Lifetime Warranty. If fuel is siphoned, drained, or contaminated through the fuel fill that is protected by a correctly installed, registered RV Fuel Vault, The RV Fuel Vault will reimburse the owner’s insurance deductible up to $500 (USD) per covered event after the owner’s insurance claim is settled.

All of the following conditions must be met for a claim to be eligible:

The product was registered with The RV Fuel Vault after purchase.
The unit was installed on a confirmed-fitment vehicle using the supplied tamper-resistant hardware, per the AMI Installation Guide, and was locked and secured at the time of loss.
A police report was filed for the theft, siphoning, or vandalism.
A claim was filed with the owner’s insurance carrier and settled.

Scope and exclusions. This guarantee is limited to fuel loss or contamination occurring through the fuel fill protected by the RV Fuel Vault. It does not cover fuel stolen by drilling or puncturing the tank, by cutting, tapping, or disconnecting a fuel line, or from a second or auxiliary fill port not protected by an installed RV Fuel Vault; losses where the unit was not installed correctly, not registered, or left unlocked; or any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages beyond the stated deductible reimbursement. Reimbursement is capped at $500 per covered event and is paid as a reimbursement of a settled insurance deductible. It is not a cash payout, an insurance product, or a service contract, and it does not replace or reduce the owner’s rights under the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
